CRIME STOP REINFORCES CLOSE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE POLICE FORCE
At a recent meeting between the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of National Security, the Police Commissioner, and Crime Stop representatives, to discuss how best Crime Stop can support the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) in the fight against crime, it was agreed that Crime Stop plays a very important role in supporting the JCF and all parties agreed on the most optimal approach for the continuation of the partnership.
Crime Stop recognizes the changing face and methods of criminality and will continue working with the JCF to employ the necessary tactics to ensure that the organisation successfully contributes to the fight against crime.
Crime Stop regrets any initial impression in the media of any lack of support from the JCF for the programme, and also is fully supportive of the strategies being employed by the JCF and calls on all Jamaicans to join in this fight against criminality in Jamaica.
